Families
Our Faith Lutheran Church community — we call it a Faith Family — is ready to help your family fulfill the vows patents and sponsors make at Baptism. Faith celebrates the milestones children pass as they grow — Baptism, learning prayers, receiving Bibles, starting school, attending Sunday School and Wednesday Night Live, in-depth study during Confirmation and wrestling with the big question of teenagers. All families are welcome!
Seniors
We offer a variety of faith nurturing events and classes from Sunday morning Pastor's class to game days and opportunities to serve the community of faith during the daytime, even trips and tours!
Plan to connect with one of the many ways of being a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Adults
We offer a Sunday morning Pastor's Class along with a variety of other opportunities for faith nurture. Spiritual practices, basic Bible classes, and many ways to connect with the life of the community through a wide variety of ministries.
Of course, central to our community of faith is worship.
Youth
Mission trips, time to hang out with friends, Sunday morning classes, fun and faith mixed together make for great memories!
Join us Wednesday evenings for Wednesday Night Live (5:00 PM) and high school youth group at 7:00 PM. We have monthly fellowship events, movie nights and summer fun!
Children
Christian education is at the very heart of the church. In the educational process the Spirit of God encounters people of all ages so that they are nurtured in faith, grow in knowledge and experience, and are inspired and empowered to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. This call to discipleship compels us to share our faith and serve others in the home, the community, and in God’s world.
Sunday School begins at 9:10 AM each Sunday. Wednesday Night Live welcomes children beginning at 5:00 PM.
Music
We're gearing up for some new opportunities to share your musical gifts! If you play an instrument, sing, or want to learn more about sound, let one of our musicians know.
At Faith Lutheran Church we have great music ministry happening, from regular worship to special occasions for music, we believe in making a joyful noise to our Lord. Join the vocal choir, bell choir, or other special choral music group. Share your musical gifts, or sign on to help with sound and logistics. We hope you’ll enjoy music as much as we do!

Choir Practice & Worship Times
We are offering both daytime and evening practices. Pick what works best for you. We would like to have people be comfortable with the songs, so we've scheduled 2-3 practices prior to each Sunday that we sing.
All voices are welcome! Practices will begin on Wednesday, September 6th at 7:30 pm. Parts practices will be offered on Tuesdays after Daytime Disciples (the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month). We are a group that likes to sing with others and who wishes to share our “joyful noise” with our church. Questions? Ask Deb Aldrich.
Social Concerns
Faith Lutheran Church is committed to serving our community and our world through efforts in ministry to others. We accomplish this through our support of local hunger initiatives, Feed Iowa First, disaster relief efforts, and Habitat for Humanity to name but a few. With the ELCA, we have also been a part of global disaster relief, over $5,000,000 for Haiti alone, and we help financially support clean water, food programs, and education around the globe.
