Congregational Directory

Attached you will find a packet of information with instructions on how to access and update/edit your online profile for our online church directory. Please read through it carefully and let Danny, Jen, or Jeff Schafer know if you have any questions. Their emails are located in the packet. If you don’t want to deal with any online updating at all but still want your information included in the directory, there will be a sheet for you to fill out on the narthex table after Easter. Simply fill out and return to Danny, Jen, or Jeff.

Milestones at Faith

Weddings

Choosing to be married at Faith Lutheran reflects Christian faith and acknowledges the Church as a spiritual home where major life moments are celebrated. A wedding is the public celebration that begins a lifelong marriage, and couples are encouraged to focus more on the marriage than the event itself. While marriage is a universal human practice, Lutherans affirm its holiness by grounding it in God’s blessing and steadfast love. In the wedding service, the couple performs the marriage through their vows of fidelity and commitment, seeking God’s blessing and support.

Funerals

Funerals are worship services that proclaim the promise of the resurrection and give thanks for the life of the deceased. The focus of the service is on God’s grace in Christ, who brings comfort and hope even in times of deep grief. Funerals provide space for family, friends, and the congregation to gather in prayer, Scripture, and song, supporting one another in God’s presence. Together, we commend the deceased to God’s eternal care while affirming the promise of new life for all God’s people.

Baptisms

Baptism centers on God’s promise of grace, welcoming people of all ages—infants, children, and adults—into the life of faith. The service includes water, Scripture, prayer, the Apostles’ Creed, and the congregation’s promise to support the newly baptized in their Christian journey. Baptism is celebrated as a joyous entry into the community of believers, marking the beginning of a lifelong walk in Christ.

Online Giving

Simply Giving is an easy way for you to make a tax deductible contribution our church.  Within 5 minutes from the comfort of your own home you can make either a one time donation or set up a re-occuring gift.  You have control!  You can easily make adjustments and it's completely safe and secure. If you'd prefer to use electronic giving but do not wish to use the computer to do so, you can print this form and submit it to accomplish automated giving.

Does the church benefit when I give this way?

Yes!  Your online gifts help us to budget throughout the year and better help others.  Plus, it saves us money and helps the environment by avoiding paper envelopes.  In addition, each Simply Giving donation helps Thrivent for Lutherans, which in turns helps Lutheran congregations help others.  Please click on the image above to get started.
